All my folks must have gone crazy.

First my dad and his lady friend INSISTED that when my drawing of 'the guy with the glasses' which just so happened to ZACHARY QUINTO is finished it will be hanged on the FREAKING LIVING ROOM WALL, because they though it looked good and there was nothing else they liked for that wall.
May I find it weird for just a second that you're pretty much hanging fan art on the wall, but seeing it just as a normal piece of art?
I mean I would find it less weird if they just said they shared my fandom for Zachary and therefore want it on the wall, but they actually want it because they somehow deem it a meaningful art piece.

Then my mother who's always opposed having tattoos, especially visible ones, suddenly contacts me about designing her a wrist tattoo with gran's ashes in it.
This too would have been less weird under different circumstances, namely if my gran had passed a way recently, but she passed years ago.

I can understand that my parents are proud of me having a skill to draw things, and that they may honestly like what I make, but why are they acting so out of character? So illogical?  My brain rolls over in my head over stuff like that. Dah.
There must be something in the water, or something.
